ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
1. SEALED BIDS for the furnishing of the necessary equipment and materials and performing the labor for the:
“Village of Newcomerstown
2021 Street Improvement Project”
will be received at the office of the Mayor, Municipal Building, 124 West Church Street, Newcomerstown, Ohio 43832 until September 10, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. LOCAL TIME and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud.
2.The proposed work consists of improvements to 1 streets and 2 alleys. Included in the project is pavement planing, asphalt concrete intermediate and surface courses, pavement repair, pavement markings, storm sewers and catch basins and other miscellaneous items.
3. The Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Project Manual with Specifications, are on file at the office of the Consulting Engineer, Hitchens & Associates, 234 South Third Street, Coshocton, Ohio. A set may be obtained, by depositing $45.00, check only, with said Consulting Engineers. Checks shall be made payable to Hitchens & Associates. Deposits are non-refundable. Bidder must call office to schedule pick up date and time.
Additional copies (in excess of one) of the Project Manual may be purchased at a cost of $15.00. No refund will be allowed for the return of any additional copies.
4. The Village of Newcomerstown reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to waive all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the Work.
5. Each Bidder must be a Bidding Documents Holder as defined in Article 1 of the Instructions to Bidders.
